About this scholarship

A unique opportunity is available for an outstanding PhD scholar in the area of cyber security in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies

Open to: 

Applicants must have an unconditional offer of admission for full-time studies in a PhD within the School of Information Technologies at the University of Sydney, and be willing to undertake research in the field of cyber security.

Applicants must also hold an Honours degree (First Class or Second Class upper) or a Master's degree in a related field with a substantial research component.


The Scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance of $30,000 per annum. Academic course fees and the Student Services Amenities fee are also provided for the same duration as the stipend allowance.Value


Up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The recipient may apply for an extension of up to 6 months.
