they're always here and for a chat.
luck of the draw
Most managers are very helpful
Managers are very approachable and make excellent mentors
Accessible and a somewhat alright mentor. Internal communication is average, performance feedback is given occasionally, praise and recognition are always given when someone excels.
Every employee has a 'buddy' for day to day questions, a 'coach' for longer term career progression advice, and a 'partner' who is ultimately responsible for your salary review. Internal communication/performance feedback quality and quantity varies depending on the individual.
The communication is usually pretty good and there is always an effort to recognise the achievements of others. You are assigned a mentor which helps immensely.
Accessible and great coaches/mentors
Depends heavily on the person and can be quite inconsistent. You may have to seek it out.
Heavily dependent on service line again. Mentors in my own team have been effective and willing to give me responsibility if shown a positive attitude and capability.
The managers are incredibly attentive and take great interest in your development.
great feedback provided. there is a real culture to help with the learning of junior members
Managers and above are not easily accessible, but when time has been booked in advance the mentoring and assistance provided is excellent.
Very accessible in general, have a "coach" that is a great mentor, generally very available to communicate with & receive feedback from.
I have no issues communicating with Managers and am assigned a mentor at Manager and Partner levels.
Managers are readily accessible.
Very accessible - the hierarchy is quite flat and they are all very approachable. They give recognition where appropriate and are big on feedback.
Managers are continually supporting you and really want to make sure you are getting the best for what you want in the future.
Very hit and miss, some are great mentors and managers, others are simply promoted into higher roles without the proper abilities.
