I support and learn from the underwriters in order to become an underwriter
I assist the company in day to day processing which enables managers to more effectively interact with clients.
I have a small book of mostly Business Pack policies that I manage. I handle the renewals of these policies as well as the claims. I work with the clients to ensure that all of their risks that can be protected through insurance are being covered. I also support the other members of my team with other tasks such as re-marketing and claims management.
My role as Assistant Account Manager involves assisting my Brokers with their responsibilities relating to client management and ensuring each of our client's are satisfied with their level of cover and quality of assistance given. Day to day tasks may include processing renewals and/or endorsements for the broker's clients, assisting clients with policy queries and quoting some policies for clients.
